First Day Jitters

Today is the first day I launched this site. Ever since I can remeber, I always had a pencil in my hand. I found it fascinating that I could create my own world by drawing. It was not just an outlet it was as natural as breathing. A teacher would hand me there handouts and by the end of the class the whole page would be covered in drawings. I found it hard to pay attention to what they were telling me to pay attention to but never did I have a problem diving into an illustration. Years went by and techniques and ability grew. People offered me money to draw stuff for them. People offered opinions on how I could manage my life with this skill and what I should be doing with it. More years went by, faces and places changed but the pencil stayed the same. No matter where I went on this Earth I seemed to be protected by the fact that all I needed was a stick of graphite and I could turn blankness into something that was my own. So here is my attempt to share my journey and a smidge of some of the thousands of drawings I have created. I wish now that I documented all my work, as if that was even possible in some situations, but it would be mindblowing to see all the drawings I have done for others and have forgot about in time.
